About Me:

Hello! my name is Jorge Gascón and I'm a PHD student at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC Madrid).

I'm a member of Modeling and Virtual Reality Group (GMRV). More information following this link.

Currently I am studying in Máster en Informática Gráfica, Juegos y Realidad Virtual (Máster of Computer Graphics, Games and Virtual Reality) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

I studied my degree on Computer Engineering in Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, divided in two courses:

• Sup. Computer Engineering (2004 - 2006).
• Technical Computer Engineering (1999 - 2003).

Research:

Currently I'm working on how to improve collision detection and physics simulation of deformable bodies with Miguel A. Otaduy and José Miguel Espadero as a part of the GMRV team.

One of the task i'm assigned is the realistic simulation of muscles, for example the supraspinatus muscle of the shoulder.
