Eder Miguel is a PhD. Student at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) as part of the Modeling and Virtual Reality Group (GMRV). His PhD. mentor is Miguel A. Otaduy. His main research area is physically-based simulation, currently focusing on cloth simulation. In the past he worked on algorithms for contact simulation between rigid and deformable bodies.
He received his BS (2007) in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del Pais Vasco (Spain). Later, he studied a Master on Computer Graphics, Games and Virtual Reality funded by a fellowship from La Caixa at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and finished it in 2010.
From October to December 2010 he did an internship at Disney Research Zurich.
