I am Alberto Sanchez, a young researcher and
computer scientist at Universidad Rey Juan
Carlos, Spain. Since Jan. 2009 I am an associate professor too at
the same university. My primary research areas
are high-performance, grid computing, cloud computing, parallel I/O,
autonomic computing and data mining. I published several
journal papers, books, book chapters and articles in international
conferences and workshops. Now that you are here, please feel free
to have a look at my publications.
I am currently a member of the
Cajal Blue Brain project,
the Spanish division of the
Blue Brain project.
I also continue working on the
GloBeM
project.
I am member of the Modeling and Virtual Reality Group (GMRV). You may find more information on its web page.
In 2003 I obtained my degree in Computer Science
at the "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid" (UPM).
In 2006 I obtained my degree in Marketing at the "Universidad
Autonoma de Madrid" (UAM).
Finally, in 2008 I received the PhD in Computer Science at the
Universidad Politecnica de Madrid obtaining the Extraordinary PhD Award.
