FAQ related the the Madrid Computer Graphics Students Chapter Why is there a Professional Chapter and a Students Chapter ?
We have two different chapters in order to have visibility, both at the International level through the ACM and at a local level through the university.
I want to be part of a chapter. Which one should I choose ?
It doesn't matter if you register at the Student one or at the Professional one because all members are automatically members of the Professional chapter. All members that are students of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos are, in addition, automatically members of the student chapter. Events are co-organized by both associations so every member has the same benefits. - Grupo de Modelado y Realidad Virtual (www.gmrv.es).
