Call for Animations

The SIGMAD Animation Festival will take place at the University Rey Juan Carlos, campus of Mostoles, prior to SCA 2010 on the 1st of July. This international event is organized for the second time by the Madrid ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter. Due to its co-location in time (the day before SCA starts) and in place (Mostoles is about 15 kilometers away from Madrid center), we have created a special category for Technical Videos. We encourage authors of SCA papers and short papers to submit their demos to the festival. We also have regular short movie competition categories. Awards will be given to the best videos and we hope to organize a special session during SCA with the best contributions. All details are on the SIGMAD Animation Festival webpage.

Important Dates

• 30th of May 2010: Deadline for animations submissions
• 15th of June 2010: Notification of animations acceptance
• 1st of July 2010: Animation Festival (workshops, projection and awards)
